The album was released on 1993.09.13 outside of the United States. Americans could get the LP on 1993.09.14, but had to wait a week (1993.09.21) for CDs and cassettes.
The American cassette and CD were re-released in 1994 with censored artwork, "Rape Me" labeled externally as "Waif Me," and new catalog numbers (DGCC-24705 / DGCD-24705). Also, these two items contain the remix of "Pennyroyal Tea," which was a planned single.
Compact discs vary in color. Some are orange, others are pink. This is seemingly related to where or when the CDs were manufactured.
A bonus track, "Gallons Of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip," is included on CD releases outside of North America.
Lyrics are included for all songs except "tourette's" and "Gallons..." The only text listed for "tourette's" is "Cufk, Tish, Sips." CDs that come with "Gallons..." list only "Whatever" and a footnote, "Devalued American Dollar Purchase Incentive Track."
