Originally released in June 1989 by Sub Pop and August 1989 by Tupelo. Although credited, Jason Everman does not appear on the album. He did cover the studio costs ($606.17), though, which are proudly listed on the album's back cover.
The album was originally released with eleven tracks. Depending on the label that issued the item you either got "Love Buzz" or "Big Cheese" as one of the songs, not both. Later releases included both songs as well as "Downer" for a total of thirteen tracks.
