| Rating: 95% - Submitted by holz_man on 2001.06.10 08:13:55 AM I have owned a number of live bootlegs throughout the years and this one here is undoubtedly the best. When listened to carefully, those familiar with the MTV Live and Loud performance which was aired either late 1993 or early 1994 will realize that this is an audio recording of exactly that show (at least songs 1-10). The audio quality of this recording is at least as good as any official live recording I have ever heard, better than quite a few actually. The version of Lithium is the most intense live song by Nirvana that I have ever heard. Anyone I have played this CD to has agreed. The 2 songs from their Saturday Night Live performance are quite good as well. Only the last 2 songs recorded in 1991 in Del Mar, California keep me from giving this CD a 100 point rating. They are not nearly as intense as the rest, and cannot hold up to the first 10 songs of this gem amongst live bootlegs. |

Like "In Scope", this disc has great sound, but is incomplete. The only difference is the filler. All songs are available on official and bootleg cd's. If you want a good In Utero show, pick up Suicide Solution. |
