Notes
Kurt Cobain (guitar/vocals), Dave Grohl (bass), and Dale Crover (drums) originally recorded this song as "The Retards" on a spring '91 demo. While not really a side project, Cobain didn't feel the song was right for Nirvana so the trio made the demo while Cobain and Grohl passed through San Francisco on their way to record Nevermind in Los Angeles.
The original title was "Formula" ( Heavier Than Heaven, p 163).
