When I bought the Heart-Shaped Box box I didn't know this book was included. After reading it, I can easily say I would not have bought the book individually. Comparing it to Come As You Are is probably unfair -- how much info can an author get in a 5" book? -- but it's a biography, so comparisons are inevitable. While it covers the basics, I felt this was much like another watered-down bio, Nirvana by Jeremy Dean. There's enough info and color photos to be useful, but I wouldn't recommend this book over Come As You Are (obviously), or even Dean's Nirvana.
