Rating: 99% - Submitted by pseudosyco on 2000.10.31 03:07:39 PM From the excellent quality recording to the powerful show nirvana put on, this is one of the bootleg elite, from a company who usually relies on ripping of other, more established names. There are possibly the best In Utero tour performances of CAYA and Sappy (mislabeled “Verse Chorus Verse”) and amazing versions of Territorial Pissings, Radio Friendly Unit Shifter and In Bloom. The artwork is nothing less than professional, and the editing perfect. This disc seems to be obtainable from Italy (where I got it from) and if seen is an absolute “must have” |
Rating: 95% - Submitted by southpawkrupp on 2002.05.15 04:05:41 PM We all know that the band played in Slovenia 2.27.94, then Munich 3.1.94; the photo on the cover is from Rio 1.93; I also have the video, and Kurt is wearing his over-sized floppy hat which covers his ears, and he wears sunglasses. He sits down during the solo for "Sappy"..the solo for HSB is similar to the Rio demo song, and the band tries to cover for Kurt; all Kurt says is "Well thanks for comin' tonight." Recommend getting it... |
Rating: 99% - Submitted by Bleachedblack on 2002.07.31 06:15:10 AM This is a recording of Nirvana’s last ever gig, and it’s strange, because this turned out to be one of their most amazing live performances ever. The whole thing starts off with an awesome jamming sesh, that gets the crowd into it, and segues into an amazing version of radio friendly unit shifter. After a bit of joking with the crowd, they spark off again with Drain you. I’ve never really liked this song, but there is some serious energy in this one. Breed, Serve The Servants, Come As You Are and Smells like’ are all excellent, and the crowd gets really into it. Following sliver, they do a beautiful version of dumb with a cello, which sounds excellent. In Bloom and about a girl get positive responses, and then they play lithium, and it’s weird to hear all the crowd singing along. Polly is the next major track, and again has a cello on it, which sounds pretty cool. Frances Farmer, which is one of my all time favourite tracks, follows, and there’s a lot of energy behind it. An excellent verse chorus verse follows. Rape Me, All Apologies and Territorial Pissings are all great. They finish off the set with amazing renditions of scentless apprentice, on a plain and heart shaped box. And that’s that. Highest recommendation for all fans. They would play one more gig, but Kurt’s voice cut out mid-way and they left the stage. |

Rating: 97% - Submitted by Leitmotif on 2003.09.08 04:25:21 AM Suicide Solutions is an eerie disc, knowing full well that all these songs are gonna be some of the last times they are ever played! Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle is a great surprise despite a tad sloppy. Sappy is by far the uber bootleg of this song. Check it out. |
