Then we hit the original demo of Marigold. The following early versions of Dive and Mr. Moustache are really interesting – it shows how Kurt's song writing progressed. The blandest is a better version than Out 1. Even in his youth is good. The electric Polly is furthermore interesting. Smells Like Teen Spirit is pretty old by this point! The next two tv songs are good. I'm a little pissed off that the Tourette's from Reading '92 is on here – didn't blue moon know that it's on Wishkah? Was it even released by that stage? The early aneurysm is good, as is the VPRO sessions. The final tracks really cap off this cd well, but the only thing I can say for the downside is that beans is cut at 50 seconds. WHY? Overall, probably the best of the bunch. Highest recommendation!!!! |
