a great pro stereo recording of the best concert nirvana ever played
this is the First Broadcast, "Into the Black" and "last Uk show" use the second Broadcast "last Uk show" also has "Blew" taken from This CD as a bonus track tacked on the end, as the 2nd broadcast ommited the track in favour of "negative creep"
there is a very slight FM hiss on this CD but don't be put off as you'll have to concentrate to hear it, i'm really glad i bought this cd it's one of my favourites, this is the easiest cd of the reading gig to get hold hold off with "last uk show" being more difficult to find and "into the black" being impossible to get hold of!
there are some (very good) edits just before and after "Blew" to get rid of some annoying DJ waffle from BBC R1's resident dinosaur-Mark Goodier
at the beginnning Breed fades in
- presumably to cut out some more BBC dj waffle but you only lose the first riff
this disc is more complete from track 13 "Blew" through to the final demolition than the second broadcast
maybe one day some clever bootlegger will graft the last half of the First broadcast from "Been a son" to "territorial pissings" onto the first half of the second broadcast from "the rose" to "negative creep"
in short you'll be more than happy with this and it's fairly easy to find
