A total of 10,000 sets were made: 6000 on assorted colored vinyl and 4000 on black vinyl.
There are supposedly only 50 copies of the aqua 7" with Nirvana.

Some colored vinyl is translucent, some is opaque. Many colors have a marbled or swirled effect. Colors were supposedly chosen at random for the boxes.
Thor Lindsay (formerly of Tim Kerr) has said that there were ten different colors for each record. The colored Nirvana records we know of so far are:
White and gold pressings of the Nirvana 7" may also exist. Orange vinyl copies of the fourth record, with Hole and Whirlees, are also said to be less common.
An info sheet, either one- or two-sided, is included. The two-sided version has pretty much the same notes and credits as the CD's booklet on one side, and a Wipers discography printed on the other.

The codes below are from colored sets. "Kdisc" is stamped, while all other etchings seem to be done by hand. Sides C and D have errors: A and B are mistakenly etched, but are crossed out.
