Live Nirvana Bootography Review:
disc 1 is another incomplete Amsterdam 1991 performance, from the radio broadcast of the soundboard recording. This release is missing both the infamous 'Come As You Are' rendition as seen on the 'Live! Tonight! Sold Out!!' official video, and the set closer, 'Territorial Pissings'. Collectors should therefore avoid this title in favor of 'Sliver'.

This particular disc scores particularly poorly because all the featured songs are faded in and out, and have gaps between the tracks. Furthermore, the tracks are slightly out of order.

Disc 2 suffers from a LOT of editing ( between every song) and rough sound quality. It's a real shame because it sounds like this CD was taken from a generated tape source.. The recording, while rough, lacks the crowd noise usually found on audience recordings. It's believed that this disc first surfaced in 1993.

The show is similar to the other 1989 European shows with some variety to the setlist including an early "Breed" and a good "Mr. Moustache" which wasn't played very often. The continuity is destroyed by the editing, so it's difficult to tell how the band was feeling... the song performances are good though.

There are mastering errors on tracks 7, 11, and 13 where the sound drops out for a second early in the song. "Negative Creep" is cut in the beginning of the song. There are several variations of this disc that can be distinguished by the different color writing found on the inserts. The known color variations include yellow, green, and purple. All known variations contain errors on those three tracks.

This isn't a disc for a beginning collector or someone who cannot tolorate a rough audience recording.
