Notes for AUD #1: First set only: 'Aneurysm' to the 'Dive' intro inclusive. A first generation tape surfaced in April 2004, replacing older, higher generation copies of this source. A first generation to FLAC transfer surfaced April 22nd 2017. All circulating copies of this source are missing the encore (see AUD #2 and AUD CLIP #1). It is unclear if the taper only recorded the first set or whether the circulating recording has been deliberately cut to omit the encore/second set from this source. This source is also available on the commercial bootleg 'A Season In Hell, Vol. 1', but in much lower quality and slightly shorter form than the trading circle version; see Live Nirvana's Bootography Guide To Nirvana Bootlegs for more information on commercial releases of this show.
Notes for AUD #2: Encore/second set only: 'Dumb' to 'Sifting' inclusive. The recording cuts off one minute into 'Sifting'. This source was surfaced by the LNCU in September 2004. The recording commences with some on-street banter recorded by the taper when the club had been cleared after the first set. No more material was recorded by this taper as the tape ran out at this point. Does not include 'Radio Friendly Unit Shifter', which is reported to be the last song (see AUD CLIP #1). The source is currently only available in MP3 format (320kbps) as the taper destroyed the master tape after converting it to MP3. The taper did record the first set, but due to recording problems and poor audio quality for this part of the show, did not keep it or make any copies.
Notes for SBD #1: Surfaced in May 2007. Includes the first set only. 'Sappy' cuts in. This is a soundboard and audience mix. The audience level is to high during the first songs and during just about every song the soundboard level gets extremely loud for a few seconds.
Notes for AUD CLIP #1: A very brief clip of 'Radio Friendly Unit Shifter'. This clip mysteriously appeared on the internet in December 2002 in MP3 format and is believed to be from this show. This source may really be from the same source as AUD #1. The clip reveals the first known performance of 'Radio Friendly Unit Shifter', with completely different lyrics to the 'In Utero' version.
