Cobain records a guitar soundscape to accompany William S. Burroughs recital The "Priest" They Called Him; the collaboration having been orchestrated by mutual friend and Tim/Kerr records owner, Thor Lindsay. Lindsay had gifted Cobain with an autographed first edition of Burroughs' Naked Lunch, for which Cobain later thanked him in the liner notes to Incesticide,

I'd do it in a second!
When the final package came out, Kurt was overwhelmed. It was just the way he wanted it. (1)
