Skid Row hit the airwaves with a midnight set on KAOS-FM. (1) The band had apparently befriended DJs Donna Dresch and John Goodmanson while performing on the same bill at Olympia's GESCCO Hall. (2)

The session itself was an Out Of Order and Toy Train Crash Backside Bone Beefcake co-production, DJs Dresch and Goodmanson would often combine shows when they had bands on. (3)

They didn't seem nervous at all, Goodmanson told Mojo's Gillian Gaar. It was a good break for us to do that show, remarked Novoselic. The recording served as an early demo tape, helping the band secure a string of shows at the Community World Theater, Tacoma, WA. (2)
