Cobain is understood to have recorded this demo while living at the Pink apartment
, 404 N. Michigan Street. Local friend and fellow Melvins aficionado, Eric Shillinger, recalls the demo as an exercise in weird pop parody. Titles are said to have included Venereal Girl, Sung to the tune of Madonna's Material Girl, with lyrics about all manner of disgusting symptoms of STDs,
Let's Roll, Diamond Dave!, A song about Jesse Reed's father, Dave, shouting out his catch phrase,
and Quad, Let's roll!
, when forcing Kurt and the Reed brothers to get in the car and go to church,A slam on one of Jesse Reed's friends. The title came from the guy insisting on putting the suffix
