Tobi Vail recalls this session being a very low-key affair: It was in my parents garage, we were recording ourselves. (1) "Kurdt only played on 'Bikini Twilight'," Calvin Johnson explains. "The line-up was: Calvin, guitar - Kurdt, guitar - Tobi, drums." (2)
