These demos are believed to have been recorded at different sittings over a period of several months. It's so easy to play songs with Courtney, Cobain told NIRVANA biographer, Michael Azerrad. Every time we jam on something, we write a great song. It's weird. Because she's a person who likes to take command and isn't afraid to be the leader. And when you've got two leaders together, it takes a lot of the pressure off both people. (1)
