Sometime during the course of 1990, while NIRVANA were home from tour, Kurt Cobain and Dylan Carlson formed this experimental white noise outfit. (1) Describing the collaboration to The Wire's Edwin Pouncey as a weird noise collage thing with a bunch of old synths, Carlson explained that the project wasn't something he and Cobain planned to pursue full time, it was just stuff we did together when he wasn't doing his thing.
