Reminiscences
During the photo session they'd do anything I asked them to do. There was a naiveness I sensed about them. Kurt had a drink in his hand while I was photographing them. I shot them in the alley facing Sub Pop. Everyone else had left by then and it was middle of the night. When I posed them, they looked strange because of the height difference between Krist and the others, so I convinced Kurt to sit on Krist's leg.
