In addition to standard discography information on each release (such as formats, release dates, labels, etc) this companion includes exclusive comprehensive track-by-track guides to the major releases such as the With The Lights Out boxset, the Live! Tonight! Sold Out!! DVD, the album From The Muddy Banks of the Wishkah and promotional releases such as Nevermind, It's An Interview.

The section also includes reviews and guides to core NIRVANA texts, such as 'Come As You Are', 'Heavier Than Heaven' and 'Journals'.
