J. Aedo: Y Bien, ya tenemos ahora lo prometido, vamos a conversar con los integrantes de Nirvana, solamente hay 2, porque Kurt esta preparandose, concentrandose para el recital de un par de horas mas aqui en Buenos Aires, pero si vamos a conversar con Dave y con Chris, ellos son dos de los integrantes de Nirvana que quieren estar con nosotros aqui en Sabado Taquilla de Television Nacional. Hola Como Estas?
Dave Grohl: Fine, how are you?
Krist Novoselic: Bien!
JA: Eh, muy bien, tu hablas un poquito, Chris, de castellano. Cuentame, en que momento esta hoy, Nirvana?
DG: The actual 'moment' of Nirvana? Wow, I don’t know...
KN: Well, it depends on what kind of stimulation we’re about to achieve, whether it’s through artificial [laughs] stimulation or genuine orgasmic sensations.
JA: Esta visita a Buenos Aires, es parte de una gira por Sudamerica, Latinoamerica, es parte de algun tour 92?
DG: No, this is kind of just a little trip down here for the weekend. We're going to do this show and then we're going straight back. It's not really a part of the tour.
JA: Luego de Aqui, hacia adonde se dirigen?
KN: Gonna go back home and work in the garden and [laughs] clean up - vacuum the house.
JA: Y Que pasa con el nuevo album, que en Chile va aparecer la proxima semana y que en realidad es el primer album de Nirvana que fue grabado el año 1989 y que se llama "Bleach", como es eso que haya sido mas popular este Nevermind que aparecio recien el año 1991 que el del 1989
KN: It's more popular? Well, I'm glad to hear that. You know, that record's been out three years, tres años es Bleach, and I'm glad that people enjoy it. It's a different record, it's kind of a... Nevermind is more of a glossy, like mainstream or more accessible - it's easy to listen to, to where Bleach is more kind of dirty and...
JA: Porque creen ustedes que Seattle es una ciudad que esta dando grupos que estan triunfando con un estilo muy parecido al de ustedes, pasa algo especial en Seattle que hace que nazcan bandas como Nirvana
DG: Quite a city, I guess... There's a lot of bands and some of them suck but some of them are really great. But, uh, it's just another city, really.
JA: Como les gustaria que se les recordara en un futuro, Como un grupo que aporto algo a la musica o una banda de Rock?
KN: Our epitaph?
DG: Will read...
KN: "A bunch of schmucks that cashed in."
JA: Les hubiese gustado haber ido a Chile o en realidad les da lo mismo?
KN: I'd love to go to Chile, sure.
DG: Sure, yeah.
KN: Argentina, Buenos Aires is really nice and I get a good impression from South America.
JA: Posibilidades de ir en un futuro proximo a Chile?
KN: Maybe, sure.
