The most common counterfeit has GED 21907 and 87 + signs around the matrix. Most speculation points towards Europe (specifically Sweden) as the source of these discs. While they are decent reproductions of the original single, there are several errors:
- Artwork on the insert isn't quite as sharp. This isn't always obvious, though, because some copies do look pretty good.
- The spine of the insert has incorrect fonts and the shade of yellow used on "Nirvana" is too light.
- Text on the CD is printed with the wrong color (black) instead or purple.
- Credits around the rim of the disc have a typo (hirinng).
- The 'metal' doesn't reach the edge of the center hole, leaving a transparent zone.
