Lowest Generation:
ANA(M) > FLAC
Length / Sound Quality:
100 min / 8.0
Notes:
In February 2015 the master tape was circulated.
"Pennyroyal Tea" cuts in due to a tape flip and the recording cuts off during "Blew" due to a tape swap.

Length / Sound Quality:

Amateur video, shot from a slightly elevated position from the centre of the audience, fairly far back.
The VHS(1) used for both audio and video transfer has a few small dropouts throughout the show.

Notes:
Surfaced in November 2002.
Missing "Polly" and everything after "On A Plain.
Has cuts in the intro, "Dumb", "Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle", "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam", and "On A Plain".
The first 50 minutes is shot from the back and middle-back of the venue. The remaining 20 minutes is shot from Cobain's side of the stage (and is mostly unobstructed).
The circulating video likely includes all that was recorded because the taper's batteries died.
A clip without audio has been broadcast on the VH1 special The Rise and Fall of Kurt Cobain.
AMT #2b incomplete
Equipment:
Unknown > Unknown
Lowest Generation:
MASTER > MP4
Length / Sound Quality:
15 min / ??
Notes:
Shot by Dave Markey, sourced from a vido uploaded in youtube, December 2013.
The picture quality suffers from YouTube's compression but the audio is clearer than AMT #2a..

It is not known if there are other sources.

  • During the end-of-show destruction, Kurt used one of the angel's arms to play his guitar at one point. He then left the stage and returned with a drill, which he drove into his guitar before picking it up and spinning it over his head. Meanwhile, Krist started singing The Kinks' "You Really Got Me."
