Notes
- According to a newspaper review, Nirvana played for a crowd of about 40,000.
- The venue is a section of a parade area called Sambódromo da Marquês de Sapucaí.
- According to the local media, Nirvana did 90 minutes of soundcheck, so probably other songs than "Scentless Apprentice", "Gallons Of Rubbing Alcohol Flow Through The Strip" and the "jam" were played.
- The show included many short jams.
- The channel who broadcasted the concert, used 2 micro cameras inside the stage and 9 portable cameras distributed through apoteose, moveables, tower's and in the audience.
- Krist opened the show by singing a few lines from Electric Light Orchestra's "Telephone Line."
- Kurt purposely altered various lyrics during the show, most notably during "Polly", which threw off Dave's backup harmonies.
- Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers played trumpet on "Smells Like Teen Spirit".
- When the band started "On A Plain", Kurt mistakenly started playing "Been A Son", but quickly switched to the correct song.
- During “Scentless Apprentice”, Earnie Bailey rolled a pineapple onstage like a bowling ball. Kurt picked it up and started smashing it on his guitar strings, playing his guitar with the pineapple. Kurt also put on a performance for one of the professional video cameras, including exposing and touching his genitals.
- During the encore, Kurt came in stage with a melon under the dress pretending to be pregnant and said: "Uh, my water's breaking".
