SPECIAL NOTES: Due to the large number of sources for this show the sound qualities have been calculated more precisely than for other shows in the Live Nirvana Tour History. In addition an entire guide has been written to radio discs featuring this show, evaluating each on sound quality and completeness: click here to read the 12/28/91 Radio Disc Guide.
Notes for SBD #1a: Complete, uncut, soundboard recording, remixed by Andy Wallace. Surfaced in May 2003. It is this remixed version that appears on a plethora of bootlegs, official CDs and radio discs in varying qualities and degrees of incompleteness (see sources below). In November 2007 another 1st generation tape surfaced. It is of higher quality than the old ANA(1) and the 'Live' bootleg (which used to be SBD #1b). This ANA(1) version is the only totally complete source, containing all the songs and pre-'Drain You'/between-track band noises.
Notes for SBD #1b: Radio disc. Missing some between-song banter. Has some fake crowd noise added between the songs. The audio drops at one point 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'.
Notes for SBD #1c: Radio disc. Missing 'Floyd The Barber' but includes some between-song noise that is missing from SBD #1b and SBD #1e. Has fake crowd noise added between songs.
Notes for SBD #1d: 'Sliver' and 'Polly', sourced from the Andy Wallace remix, can be found on the 'In Bloom' CD single in the highest quality of all sources; see Live Nirvana's Companion To Official Releases for more information on official releases featuring this show.
Notes for SBD #1e: Radio disc. Missing 'Aneurysm' and 'Territorial Pissings'. Has some fake crowd noise added between the songs.
Notes for SBD #2: Virtually all of 'Aneurysm' and most of 'School' are cut. This soundboard source is an unremixed monitor mix. In November 2007 a new fresh transfer was circulated.
Notes for SBD #3: 'Drain You', 'Aneurysm' and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' only, sourced from the Andy Wallace remix, appear on 'From The Muddy Banks Of The Wishkah' in the highest quality of all sources; see Live Nirvana's Companion To Official Releases for more information on official releases featuring this show. The false notes that kurt plays at the first and third verse are mixed out.
