Released: 06/20/92 (released as 'Eight Songs For Greg Sage and the Wipers'), 03/15/93 (released as 'Fourteen Songs For Greg Sage and the Wipers').
Releases: 10,000 box sets were produced, 4,000 on coloured vinyl. Re-released on CD in 1993 with six extra tracks as 'Fourteen Songs For Greg Sage and the Wipers'.
Additional Information: The original version of this song can be found on 'Is It Real?' (Park Records) and 'Hype!'/'Hype: The Motion Picture Soundtrack' (Sub Pop Records). When the band were first approached and asked if they wanted to contribute to a Wipers tribute compilation they originally intended to use 'D7' from a Peel session. However, because this had already been released on 'Hormoaning' it made licensing difficult. Therefore the band used 'Return of the Rat' instead (Gaar, Goldmine).
